I am happy to share that I had the privilege of being invited as a speaker at a Round Table event hosted by the Directorate of Communications, Turkey, as part of the G20 summit.
It was a very prestigious meeting considering the fact that the First Lady of Turkey, Ms. Emine Erdoğan assumed the role of chairperson, UN Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero Waste, on the recommendation of UN Secretary-General António Guterres. She has been emphasizing on the potential for collective efforts to mend the existing environmental damage.
In alignment with the overarching objective of achieving Zero Waste and fostering collaboration with the United Nations, its affiliated organizations, and both global and regional entities, the Directorate of Communications, Turkey, organized this significant Round Table Meeting on 9th Sept 2023.
I feel deeply honored to have received an invitation from the Turkish Embassy to speak at this pivotal gathering dedicated to the cause of Zero Waste. Sharing the stage with esteemed speakers and international journalists was an immensely enriching experience. Zero Waste is a cause that resonates profoundly with me, and this opportunity left an indelible mark on my heart.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my family, Navjiwan residents, my well-wishers, partners, and especially the entire MCD team, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in advancing this cause and my endeavors. I am committed to continuing to give my best to this mission.
